Make Friends share new single ‘Groans’ and announce EP ‘Loaded Fun’.

The EP will be released the 13th of September on Ignition Records, produced by Bombay Bicycle Club's Ed Nash. The release follows a buzzy performance at Dot To Dot festival this year. Next up, Make Friends play an intimate headline show at The Old Blue Last in London this Thursday, 11th July.

With a natural flair for versatility and an energetic approach, Make Friends draws inspiration from a diverse spectrum on ‘Groans’, blending elements from Bombay Bicycle Club's craftsmanship, the euphoric pop-rock of Phoenix, the synth-driven stylings of MGMT, and the intricate tapestries reminiscent of Everything Everything.

Having collaborated with Peter Sené, known for his work with Everything Everything and John Grant, as well as James Trevascus from BEAK> and Billy Nomates, Make Friends has consistently garnered support from pioneering producers at the forefront of the UK music scene.

Set for release on September 13th via Ignition Records, which boasts household names like Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and the Courteeners, Make Friends is poised to defy expectations with their upcoming EP 'Loaded Fun'.

These connections have not only honed their sound but also positioned them as a band unafraid to explore and push the boundaries of contemporary music. The involvement of such esteemed collaborators underscores the band's commitment to innovation and quality, marking them as a significant force in the indie music landscape.
