ultrasaturated share new dream-pop single ‘Luna’.

Dream pop band ultrasaturated, hailing from an undefined point between Amsterdam and Northern Italy, is thrilled to announce the release of their latest single, Luna. This new release comes on the heels of their successful debut EP, ‘Universal Hologram’, which has already amassed over half a million streams.

‘Luna’ was created in December 2023 during a week-long creative retreat at a serene Airbnb in Lake Garda, Italy. The tranquil setting inspired ultrasaturated to craft new songs, which they later recorded in a studio where Federico works. With the studio fully available for the weekend, the band seized the opportunity to record without the usual time pressures, resulting in several tracks, including ‘Luna’.

‘Luna’ draws inspiration from the resurgence of '80s aesthetics in movies, music, and culture. Ultrasaturated blends diverse genre influences to forge a sound uniquely their own. The lyrics explore themes of existential reflection, personal introspection, and the insignificance of human constructs in the vastness of the universe, inviting listeners to find their own interpretations.

The band's visual identity is characterised by a psychedelic, dream-like vision with saturated colours and a vintage feel, a style that shines through in their music videos. Notably, the singles ‘Swimming Thru’ and ‘Horsegait’ were brought to life by L.A.-based videomaker Troy Lustick, further cementing their distinctive aesthetic.
